Titan Poker Review
www.titanpoker.com Titan Poker to me is loud and proud like the Americans of the poker world. They know who they are and shout it from the roof tops usually with lots of whoopin' and a hollerin'. Titan Poker is one of the bigger poker sites on the net and with their smart advertising and the fact they merged with a smaller poker room not so long back their player base has increased signifcantly. This all makes for many games, many eager players and many rich pickings.
Some may find Titan Poker a bit too flashy, with too many bright lights and colours and although I dont play there very often I can see its appeal. They run a lot of nice promotions and tournaments with a massive $250,000 weekly prize pool, its like a mini world series but on your computer. And that's just the cash games the last time I visited Titan Poker they were running satelites to a $500,000 freerolll competition, FREE to enter and FREE to win, Now that's some freeroll.
The game play is pretty tight and you have to fight for every penny but that's the fun in poker. Generally the tournaments seemed more relaxed than the cash games but I guess that depends on who and when you play. They offer all games, Fixed limit, Pot limit and No limit holdem and Omaha Hi Low and Omaha cash games. Limits range from as low as 0.02 cents a blind upto $50 - $100 which caters to all poker players beginners and professionals alike.
All in all Titan Poker is a sleeping giant; it' got many players, many competitions and good high value deposit and monthly promotions, upto $500 for your first initial deposit. It isn't as big as party poker or paradise yet but I tip it to be a big player in the future.
