Deal or No Deal Game
The Deal or No Deal Game is an extremely successful television game show which is hosted in the UK by Noel Edmonds. The game show has spawned several online casino games with a Deal or No Deal theme, and the most popular of these are a Deal or No Deal scratchcard game and a Deal or No Deal progressive slots game. The progressive slots version in particular gives players the chance to win a massive amount of money, and we mean massive. In fact, the Deal or No Deal slots jackpot could well help you to realise your dreams of achieving millionaire status!
Deal or No Deal TV Game Show
If you haven’t seen the Deal or No Deal television show then there’s no need to worry because the concept is simple. The player is presented with a number of boxes (in the UK there are 22 and in the US version there are 26) and they have to choose one for themselves. Each box contains a prize amount and the player has to discard a handful of boxes in each of several rounds. When boxes are discarded they are opened so that the prize amount in each can be revealed. The Banker then calls the player to make an offer on the box they selected for themselves at the outset, and the player has to say Deal or No Deal.
Whether the player says Deal or No Deal at the end of each round usually depends on their attitude to risk and the prize amounts that have already been discarded. If lots of low prize amounts have been discarded then the odds of the player’s own box containing a high amount are obviously better than if lots of high amounts have been discarded. Of course, offers made by the Banker also take those odds into account, so even the most logical player will need a good pinch of luck to make the perfect decision. That said, being able to weight up the odds and make decisions accordingly is a real strength of the Deal or No Deal format.
Deal or No Deal Scratchcard
The Deal or No Deal scratchcard game could well be the most exciting online scratchcard that has ever been created. Authentic game show-style graphics and atmospheric audio builds the tension as you move from one round to another. That’s right, the Deal or No Deal scratchcard has several rounds, as follows:
Game 1
The first round shows you four red Deal or No Deal boxes and a large MATCH scratch panel at the foot of the game card. Scratch the MATCH panel to reveal a symbol. This is the symbol that needs to be in one of the four red boxes for you to win a prize, so click the four boxes in turn (or click Reveal All) to see if you have won.
Game 2
The next round presents you with four blue Deal or No Deal prize panels. Your job is to click on each one in turn to reveal the prize hidden underneath. Match three prizes of the same value and you win that amount.
Game 3
The third round presents you with nine Deal or No Deal boxes. Here you have to open each box in any order you choose (or click Reveal All to open them all at once) to reveal the prize amounts hidden inside. Match three of the same prize amounts to win.
Deal or No Deal Slots
The Deal or No Deal slots game has five reels and 20 pay lines. You can bet anything from 1 to 20 pay lines, but if you want to win the progressive jackpot you will need to bet the maximum. You can of course bet with different stakes to suit your pocket. Your coin size options are 5p, 10p or 20p and each coin size has its own associated progressive jackpot, so no matter what your budget you can still aim high.
The symbols in the Deal or No Deal game include the usual range of BARs, 7s, cherries and melons, but there are also a few Deal or No Deal special symbols and these can help you in several ways:
The Banker
First, you can get a Deal or No Deal Banker symbol (a black telephone) whilst the reels are still spinning. If this happens then you know that the reels will come to rest on a win, but the Banker will make you an offer that you can take instead of that win. The offer made by the Banker could be worth more or less than the win coming up, so you have to decide whether to say Deal or No Deal and live with the consequences!
Mystery Box Bonus
Next, you could get three Bonus boxes on an active pay line. This will trigger a Mystery Box Bonus game which shows you 15 boxes. 11 boxes contain a cash prize, 3 boxes are empty and 1 box has a Win All inside. You have to open the boxes to win whatever is inside, and you can keep opening boxes until you open an empty one, in which case the Mystery Box Bonus game comes to an end. If you open the Win All box then you automatically open all of the remaining cash prize boxes and win the whole lot!
Deal or No Deal Bonus Game
Last, but by no means least, there is the Deal or No Deal Bonus Game. This is triggered when you get three Deal or No Deal Bonus symbols on an active pay line, and it is the part of the Deal or No Deal slots game that is most like the television show. You are presented with 26 boxes (one of them containing the progressive jackpot if you are playing with a maximum bet) and your job is to pick one of them as your own. Then, as in the game show, you start getting rid of the other boxes in small groups. After every round the Banker will call and offer you a price for your box. You can say Deal or No Deal, and if you say the right thing at the right time, you could end up the one laughing all the way to the bank!
Deal or No Deal Game Conclusion
Whether you’re a fan of the Deal or No Deal television game show or not, you will love the Deal or No Deal online casino games described here. Great audio, graphics, authentic Deal or No Deal atmosphere and some massive prize make the Deal or No Deal scratchcard and slots games all-round winners.
